When I saw the cover of this book, I thought: "Wow, another dystopian novel... which series will this be a copy of? The Hunger Games? Matched? Under the Never Sky?" I felt this way, that is, until I read the subtitle "You or your alt? Only one will survive." After reading this, I thought: "I love a good battle to the death, this book sounds amazing already... but wait... what is an Alt?" Then I read the synopsis, and I fell in love! This book sounds so original, and if there are other books like it out there, I haven't read them. A dystopian setting, a seemingly strong female lead, and a battle to the death... with YOURSELF... what more could you ask for? I'm really excited for this book, but I have to wait until February... OF NEXT YEAR! UGH! Why must I be forced to wait so long... well, I guess that's life, you have to wait for something good... and I'm sure that this book will be phenomenal.
